Turn On & Tune In

24Nov09

Wet. Windy. Cold. Don’t you love the Scottish summer & it’s 12month policy?Should you be trying to fend off the depression of the dark nights or boredom of budget restrained council tv then may I offer a few remidies? Oral or injection?

Wednesday at the Old Fruit Market Glasgow sees the culmination of a unique project. The Great Rock ‘N Roll Swindle, run by The Brew House; a collaboration of composers, conductors & seriously great musicians. The premise is simple, 25 & under & write your own music, come play with a 15 piece orchestra. They’ll help with arrangement & scoring. You, get a once in a lifetime opportunity.

This Silent Forest are one of the artists to be involved. And fuck are we excited. Sex wee excited. Other acts include Patricia Panther, who I recently featured on BBC Radio 1 Introducting with Vic Galloway. Going be a batter of a night. Come along, 8.30pm & £5.
